Trumpington has changed enormously with developments like Trumpington Meadows, Clay Farm and Aura adding thousands of new homes alongside the historic village core near the church and Trumpington Hall. It makes for two very different kinds of carpentry work.
New-build homes are typically square and quick to work in, but they arrive with generous rooms and very little built-in storage, so fitted wardrobes, media walls, home offices and clever understair storage are the jobs we're asked for most here. In the older village properties it's more about sympathetic joinery, alcove units, panelling and finishing that suits the character of the house.
With the biomedical campus and Addenbrooke's nearby, we also fit out a lot of home offices for people working flexibly. Wherever your home is in Trumpington, we can measure up and quote.
